VCMI at Africa Union Development Agency’s High Level Dialogue on Carbon Markets in Africa
VCMI is delighted to participate in Africa Union Development Agency’s (AUDA-NEPAD’s) 2025 High Level Dialogue on Carbon Markets in Africa, Advancing African Principles for Carbon Markets: Ensuring Climate Action with Integrity, Equity, and Development Impact, from 21 to 22 July in Nairobi, Kenya.
On July 22, VCMI’s Regional Lead for Africa Bianca Gichangi will be speaking from 12:00 – 13:30 at the session ‘Ensuring Integrity in African Carbon Markets (Perspectives from Standard Setters and Rating Agencies).’
This global event emphasizes Africa’s strong commitment to establishing high-integrity carbon markets, highlighting the continent’s leadership in leveraging carbon finance for sustainable development, climate resilience, and equitable growth.
