Lewis Dean
Lewis Dean is Engagement Associate at VCMI, where he oversees stakeholder engagement and outreach strategies. Reporting to the Engagement Manager, Lewis’ team leads initiatives to promote the adoption of VCMI’s Claims Code of Practice, ensuring credible use and associated claims of high-integrity voluntary carbon markets.
Prior to joining VCMI, Lewis worked at the Carbon Market Institute, where he managed outreach and engagement efforts, building capacity in carbon markets in Australia and the Asia-Pacific. In this role, he facilitated strategic partnerships and events to enhance understanding and implementation of carbon market mechanisms.
Lewis holds an MSc in Sustainability & Environments from Monash University, as well as a BSc in Science from Deakin University.
