Hosted by VCMI in partnership with the Climate Vulnerable Forum–V20 (CVF-V20) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), this event will showcase VCMI’s updated Carbon Markets Access Toolkit, developed in partnership with UNDP and Climate Focus.

As countries build out financing and investment strategies to achieve their nationally determined contributions (NDCs) ahead of COP30, VCMI’s Carbon Markets Access Toolkit provides policymakers in emerging markets with a vital playbook to unlock finance from carbon markets in support of their climate and sustainable development goals.

The launch event will present the updated content from the Toolkit, showcasing the urgent need for scaled-up, holistic capacity building. It will also feature high-level speakers from governments sharing their experience addressing key themes identified by the Toolkit, as well as insights from key collaborating partners and remarks from senior representatives across government and civil society.
